In an effort to recover the remains of Peter Gavin, forensic and homicide teams are searching the home of Chris Chris in East Gwillimbury. After a 16-month police probe, Mr. Chris, 25, has been charged with first-degree murder. Police indicated that finding the remainder of Mr. Gavin’s body may be difficult because of the length of time that has transpired, but Det.-Sgt. Larry Wilson, who is in charge of the probe, said that police have a warrant and are moving into the next phase of the investigation.
