There are many common mistakes that may lead your resume to be overlooked, but the top three are more common than you think. Generic statements that anybody could think of don’t give a good portrayal of the worker’s qualities. Instead, it does the opposite. Citing responsibilities is once again unimportant, compared to listing accomplishments. Giving actual references to past employers is much more meaningful than saying “references available on request”.
