When job hunting, don’t forget the basics

The odds of successful job hunting can be improved by sticking to some common sense basics. Michael S. Washington of the Tri-State Defender reminds job seekers to only apply for those positions that they are qualified for, and to update resumes which should always include a cover letter. Whether filling out an application in person or online, applicants should make sure that both their application and resume are neat and error free. Those that are meticulous in researching their prospective job stand a much better chance at success.
